The efflorescence on this wall was the number one indicator that water seepage was becoming an issue. To prevent the water from being held inside the wall and creating problems for the rest of the basement, we installed an interior waterproofing system that drains intruding water to the outside of the home. This system also utilized a CleanSpace vapor barrier that will help lower the humidity inside the basement.
The steps on the front porch of this home had been completely displaced. The resulting trip hazard and ugly appearance of the porch steps needed to be fixed. We repaired the steps by injecting PolyLevel underneath to lift and stabilize it. Then, we sealed the crack along the back with NexusPro which bound it together and waterproofed the seal.
Among other issues, this basement's wall had started to bow inward. This risk of a wall collapse lead the homeowners to search for a solution. Fortunately, there are different types of solutions for this problem, and we installed a steal beam support that stabilized the cracking wall from further dislocation.
Sagging floors had plagued this home for a while and the homeowners tried a jack system that wasn't getting the job done. We replaced the system with our SmartJacks under a steel beam support. This is a more durable and effective way to hold the floor up.
A proper vapor barrier should seal the entire crawl space to keep all possible sources of water vapor out. We installed our durable CleanSpace vapor barrier to reduce humidity and help improve the health of this home.
