The second piece to consider was how to seal off the crawl space area in terms of potential water flow. To do this we ran EZflo waterproofing pipe along the base of the exposed dirt side and ran it into our WaterGuard system with drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier on top of it. This was necessary to seal the system off and make the open transition act as a fourth wall. The last step was to install our basement qualified SaniDry dehumidifier. This along with the vapor barrier up the partial wall will help to keep the humidity down and the basement dry.
