SmartJacks installed under a steel beam support was the solution. We ran the beam across the entire crawl space under the sinking floor joists which created the perfect support for the SmartJacks. The crawl space under this home had plenty of problems, however we were here to solve to structural issue. Flooded basements are no strange thing to us. So, when we were called to inspect this home, we knew the urgency and solutions that these homeowners had and needed. The flooding was coming from the basement walls and floors from ground water that would rise after it rained. This means that there is no simple fix, although we provided the easiest route to a permanent solution possible.

With the slab restored, the homeowners were happy. The potential trip hazard and the ruined slab is no longer something to worry about.

We jackhammered the floor around the perimeter of the basement and installed WaterGuard to collect water as it comes through the wall.
