We installed our SmartJacks underneath a steel beam to hold the floor up and tore out everything inside the crawl space that was unnecessary. This included old insulation and the old vapor barrier. The next step to improve the crawl space was to lay down our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier. Doing this ensured a durable barrier would help the area resist moisture from the ground. After the jacks and vapor barrier were installed, we went outside to install a French drain system.
