This crawl space has been having moisture problems for years. The weak plastic barrier that was laid down when it was built has ripped and exposed the ground. Having exposed ground inside the crawl space means that water can easily get into the air.

Mold was forming and rot was imminent. So, the homeowners decided to save their home by having their crawl space encapsulation. This process cleans out and sealed the crawl space from outside factors such as moisture. Once we control the air inside the crawl space, it can flow throughout the house and not bring musty air into the living spaces of the home.

A lot of water intrusion started to show on the walls of this basement. The efflorescence left behind and slight bowing from pressure was a cause of concern to the homeowners.

We remedied the problem by stabilizing the block walls and waterproofing the interior of the home. Now, any water that makes it to the basement wall will be funneled into our sump pump system and be expelled away from the home.

We inspected this basement that had an adjacent crawl space and found massive water issues. The leakage was causing mold growth, making it hard to store items, and causing pressure on the walls.
