When the sunroom was added onto the side of this home, the main support beams for the room were run down onto the concrete patio below it. This patio had already experienced a lot of water runoff and subsequent erosion around the slab. So, when the pressure of the sunroom was added, it was only a matter of time before the pressure started to crack the already shifting slab.
This cracking started to occur, and the homeowners contracted us for the solution. We pumped PolyLevel foam underneath the slab to fill any void that had formed due to erosion and provide support from sinking. After that, we sealed the cracks with NexusPro to bind the slab together and waterproof the cracks.
When the job was done, the homeowners were very happy. The pressure from the sunroom above is no longer problematic for the patio supporting it, and the sunroom will be safe sitting on the concrete slab.
