This homeowner wanted to have his crawl space professionally encapsulated and contacted our office for assistance. After providing a free crawl space inspection, we recommended fully encapsulating the space using our CleanSpace System. This comprehensive solution included several key components: removing debris, sealing open vents, and insulating around rim joists to prevent energy loss and stop outside elements from entering. We installed CleanSpace drainage matting throughout the crawl space floor to facilitate water drainage and reduce moisture buildup. SilverGlo thermal insulation was applied to the walls to enhance energy efficiency and maintain consistent temperatures. The entire space was then sealed with our CleanSpace vapor barrier system to prevent moisture intrusion and inhibit mold growth. Additionally, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control humidity levels and a TripleSafe sump pump to manage any water accumulation, ensuring a dry and healthy crawl space environment. Before Sealing Crawl Space

Drainage Matting

Our CleanSpace Drainage Matting was installed throughout the crawl space floor to prevent water accumulation and reduce moisture related issues.

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier

Cleanspace drainage matting works with the CleanSpace vapor barrier by creating a gap between the barrier and the foundation wall, allowing moisture to drain into the perimeter drain system. This prevents water from being trapped behind the barrier. The liner seals the space, preventing moisture from passing through.

Sump Pump

The TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to protect the space from flooding and water damage. Water collected is drained to the sump system to be pumped out of the home and diverted away from the foundation through an exterior discharge line.

SaniDry Sedona

To enhance moisture control, reduce humidity levels, and improve indoor air quality, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This system has a built in self-draining mechanism that drains directly to the sump pump to be drained out of the home. No more buckets of water to constantly monitor and empty!

Thermal Insulation

Our SilverGlo Thermal Insulation boards are fastened to the crawl space walls to provide superior performance by reducing energy costs and maintain consistent temps. SilverGlo is completely waterproof so it also acts as a barrier to prevent moisture from entering through the crawl space walls.
