Mold Growth
Moisture in this customer's crawl space led to mold growth. The crawl space had high humidity levels and was not properly ventilated. We installed a dehumidifier and sealed the crawl space to prevent further moisture from entering the area.
Drainage Matting
Our drainage matting directs water towards the drainage system to prevent flooding in the crawl space.
Before Waterproofing Crawl Space
Water was seeping into this crawl space through the dirt floor, at the wall/floor joints, and through open vents. This led to water damage, high-humidity levels, musty odors and mold growth!
SmartDrain System
The SmartDrain System is a crawl space drain with a bottomless liner and an airtight lid. If plumbing failure occurs or flooding occurs for any reason, this system will drain the water beneath your vapor barrier. This will prevent it from collecting in the space. SmartDrain features an innovative ball-and-cup drain system. When water enters the cup, the ball floats and opens the drain -- sealing it again when no water remains. When the system detects water, a specially designed WaterWatch Alarm will sound off, alerting you of an issue.
Dehumidification
The SaniDry Sedona was installed to prevent moisture issues as well as maintaining a healthy humidity level for not just the crawl space but for the living area as well!
