Exposed Crawl Space Walls
Most of the block walls of this crawl space were built above ground and have air flowing against them. This makes it harder for the air inside the crawl space to stay a consistent temperature.
Falling Insulation and Exposed Dirt
The other issue this crawl space had with keeping moisture out of the air was the exposed ground that let water rise from the ground. The insulation that has fallen out from the ceiling also provides no protection.
SilverGlo Wall Insulation Installed
To protect the crawl space air and insulate it from the outside, we installed our SilverGlo insulation to the walls. This allows the crawl space to have more control over the air and condition inside of it.
CleanSpace and SaniDry Air System Installed
The final step in this installation was to seal it off with a CleanSpace vapor barrier and a SaniDry air system. These two things dehumidify the space and protect the air from moisture.
