Failing Insulation
When the wet air would condensate onto the insulation inside the crawl space, it caused it to clump together. After enough time, this insulation started to fail at its initial purpose.
Moldy Floor Joists
This much mold is an obvious sign to find a solution to the high humidity.
Exposed Ground and Brick Wall Water Seepage
The brick wall in this corner experienced a lot of water seepage. This came from outside sources as well as the exposed ground inside the crawl space.

Providing a perfect location for the SmartSump installation, this more effected corner was where most of the external water intrusion took place.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Installation
To keep humidity down throughout the crawl space, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier and sealed the crawl space in it. This keeps moisture from getting into the air.
Protected Crawl Space
The final product was a crawl space protected from water vapor, water seepage, and increased the overall air quality.
