Exposed Crawl Space Ground
The newly graded dirt crawl space looks nice but is very susceptible to water vapor from the ground, and without protection the humidity inside could spike dramatically.
Fiberglass Insulation
Most crawl spaces insulate the floor above with fiberglass insulation, but whenever the crawl space gets damp it clumps and ruins the insulation. So, even though when it is installed it looks nice, time will quickly expose how little it is protected.
Vapor Barrier Moisture Protection
Covering the exposed dirt and block in CleanSpace provides multiple benefits. It blocks water moisture from getting into the air and it provides a cleaner and more useful space for the home.
Interior Crawl Space Waterproofing
In addition to a vapor barrier, we installed a waterproofing system to catch water as it comes into the crawl space under the vapor barrier. This helps mitigate many problems from humidity to flooding.
Dehumidifying Air System for the Crawl Space
To finish off the protection for this crawl space we installed an air system designed to dehumidify basements. The SaniDry dehumidifier will assist the rest of the products in keeping the inside air dry and make it much harder for mold to grow.
