The plastic barrier in this crawl space does not do a great job at keeping moisture out, as it still leaves the block wall and supports exposed. This barrier will also rip overtime and collect debris from other unprotected areas.

In addition to running CleanSpace vapor barrier along the block walls it is also best to wrap it up interior supports. Water and water vapor will find any way possible into crawl spaces, so the best way to drive the humidity down inside this crawl space was to wrap everything that has contact with the ground or the outside air in our vapor barrier.
