Crawl Space Encapsulation in Winston Salem, NC
Challenge
The customer was experiencing a musty smell that had been coming up into their living areas for a little while so they called the professionals at Master Service Companies. After inspecting the crawl space it was clear that the family did indeed have a mold problem which was in turn affecting the quality of air throughout their home.
Solution
Before even beginning the mold remediation process our crew had to clear some debris and clutter from beneath the house. We then began to spray the soda mix throughout the entirety of the crawlspace in order to remove the mold from the space. Another one of our crews followed up the next day to smooth out the floor of the crawlspace in order to waterproof and encapsulate the area preventing any future mold growth down there. Our team then installed the CleanSpace insulation barrier on the floors and then used the SilverGlo Wall Insulation barrier on the walls. They also put in a crawl space air machine, a condensate pump, a smart drain, and a new EverLast Crawl Space door.
