The customer experienced water intrusion in their basement primarily at the wall-floor joint and through small cracks in the foundation walls. The wall-floor joint, where the basement walls meet the floor, is a common entry point for water due to hydrostatic pressure pushing water up from the ground. Additionally, small cracks in the foundation walls allowed water to seep through, exacerbating the problem. These issues were effectively addressed with our WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier system. The WaterGuard system efficiently collects and directs water to the TripleSafe sump pump, which then expels it away from the foundation through exterior discharge lines equipped with a LawnScape outlet. The CleanSpace vapor barrier prevents moisture and mold growth on basement walls, ensuring a dry and healthy environment. This combination of advanced systems provides comprehensive protection against water intrusion and humidity, enhancing the overall comfort and safety of the basement.

Installing TripleSafe Sump Pump

The Triplesafe sump pump will keep this customers basement dry by providing triple protection against water intrusion. It features three pumps: a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-operated backup pump. The primary pump handles normal water levels, the secondary pump activates if the primary fails or can't keep up, and the battery-operated pump ensures operation during power outages.

Before Wall System

Water was leaking into this customers basement through the wall/floor joint and small cracks in the foundation wall. To prevent future leaks, we are installing our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System on the wall and WaterGuard Drainage system to stop moisture in its tracks.

Running Discharge Line

The line is ran away from the foundation to ensure it can't seep its way back in!

LawnScape Outlet

The LawnScape outlet at the end of the discharge line is a designated point where water from the sump pump is released onto the lawn or a designated drainage area. This outlet helps to direct water away from the house, preventing water accumulation and potential flooding around the foundation.

Digging Trench

A trench is dug to install the discharge line to drain water away from the foundation.

Installation Complete

CleanSpace fastened to the walls to prevent moisture from seeping in. The WaterGuard system is sealed with concrete to ensure the system is secure and the TripleSafe Sump System is hooked up and running to keep this basement dry all the time!

CleanSpace System

The CleanSpace wall system is a vapor barrier designed to keep moisture out of basements. It consists of a thick, durable plastic liner that is installed on the basement walls. This liner prevents moisture from seeping through the walls and into the basement, effectively reducing humidity levels and preventing mold growth. Additionally, it creates a clean, finished look while also providing an effective barrier against water vapor and dampness.
