The sump pump and our vapor barrier fit perfectly in the troublesome corner, providing the maximum amount of protection.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace Water Protection
Our WaterGuard interior waterproofing system was installed around the perimeter to capture water from the ground and block walls to run it into the sump pump. The vapor barrier along the walls is there to keep moisture from getting into the air before it can drain into the system.
Buried Down Spout and System Drain
To make sure the expelled water exited in a way safe for the home, we buried the down spout with the output running downhill and away from the base of the home.
