Water Damage Along the Base of the Basement
The water that has been getting into the block wall has left its mark at the base of the wall. The left over minerals have stained the walls and was a tell tell sign that it needed to be waterproofed.
Jack Hammering Trench for WaterGuard
To waterproof the home from the inside, we have to dig a trench to place our patented WaterGuard system. By placing it under the footer it can collect the water from the wall and ground as it rises up.
Finished WaterGuard Installation
Once the WaterGuard is in place and tested, we re-pour the trench and restore the basement to the way it was. This is important because it lets the basement function normally even after the installation of our system.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
The location of the sump must be somewhat strategic to make sure that the water can be pumped out in a safe place outside the home. The previously occurred water damage is still visible on the block wall behind the sump pump, but with the new system in place that aesthetic will no longer be an issue.
