There was a lot of efflorescence and water damage in this basement. This made it very hard keep items stored, it left an odd smell and risked mold growth, and made it almost impossible to finish the area of the home. To fix the issue, we installed our patented interior waterproofing system along with a vapor barrier and dehumidifying air system. These products work together to keep physical water out as well as water vapor out of the air.

Like most basements, the homeowners were using it to keep items in storage. The constant water intrusion was making it more difficult to keep the items down here dry.

Efflorescence on Basement Steps

One of the worst affected areas were by the steps. We had to find a way to waterproof this corner, because a lot of water was settling here.

Existing Exterior Drainage System

The downspout of this home was flowing water directly down onto the ground around the basement. By not sending rainwater away from the foundation, the existing downspouts were complicating the water seepage issue.

Sump Pump and Dehumidifier Installation

Our patented waterproofing and air systems are designed for basements. This system is taking the water seepage from the perimeter of the basement and sending it outside as well as keeping the humidity down inside the basement.

Waterproofing up Basement Stairs

This was one of the most troublesome spots because the most water was coming through here, and it was right on the stairs. We were successful in installing our WaterGuard waterproofing system, and it is collecting water intrusion from all the levels of the floor.

New Exterior Down Spout Drainage System

The WaterGuard and sump pump system is connected to this French drain. This drain is perfect for sending the unwanted water away from the home into the ground that won't immediately make its way back into the basement walls.
