Digging Trench by Basement Wall
To install out WaterGuard product we must dig a trench and place it against the side walls. This allows the water that reaches the block wall and travels down it to be collected.
Digging the Pit for the Sump Pump
By this electrical outlet and the floor ledge marks a great spot to install the sump pump responsible for pumping the water out of the basement because it assists in running the water downhill and no extra wiring is needed to power it.

Once everything is installed properly the trench is filled back it and for this basement, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier to the walls.
