Dirty Crawl Space
Dirt from the ground was able to get past the unsealed barrier and let ground moisture in with it.
Ruined Insulation
The moisture was shredding and ruining the floor insulation which majorly reduced the R-value.
Encapsulated Crawl Space
Properly sealing the entire crawl space made it dry and allowed us to control the humidity.
Wrapped Piers
Our vapor barrier is sealed and wrapped up the piers which can wick water into the crawl space from the ground.
